The Road - Full Moon

Bolinas full moon keeps us awake through the night, spotlight on our sleep, already partly on the road....
Our last morning gives us a brilliant send off....
So good to be on the road.....
Mt. Shasta and we're heading to the Oregon border....
Pulling over for the night in a favorite place...
Happy family at dinner.....

Morning again and we're off to find great coffee and bakery. When we get to Portland this afternoon we're going straight to Toys-R-Us to get River a toddler bed - her first big-girl bed. The move-in will center around the big event.

Hey! Black Butte! How fun to "see" you traveling through my old home. (Shasta. Yep. I was once Miss Sisiyou County. Don't tell!) ;) Isn't it beautiful up there? *sigh* It really is.

Thanks for posted the photos. Hey, just a thought...we bypassed the toddler bed and went straight to the twin mattress set on the floor. That way no dbl transition. Either way, happy trails, and welcome to your new "home."

So odd to see Shasta without a full coat of snow! ... and Ashland ... ah! Favorite place for me, too.

Welcome (back) to Oregon!

Glad my toes aren't the only ones on a blog! Beautiful pictures. So excited for your journey. Glad to be where I am, but dying to be there to greet you, too. Can't wait to come home and have you there.

Is that your step-daughter? Gorgeous! And HOW much does River look like you and your mother, I'm sure you've noticed. Wow. How'd the toddler bed go over?
